Get design help on your cards from Wingmate
Updated
In Invite Studio, Wingmate can look at the invitation, menu or place card you have open, tell you what it thinks, and draft edits like moving, resizing or restyling text, changing wording, hiding elements or changing the background.
Turn it on
- Open a design in Invite Studio, then open Wingmate.
- Ask something like “How does this card look?”, “Fix anything that overlaps” or “Make the menu match the place card.”
- Wingmate asks to see the cards it needs. Choose Allow once or Always allow, and it carries on with your question. (Press Stop at the top of the chat, or set a card to Off in Settings, to turn it off again.)
Apply and undo
Suggested edits arrive as a checklist. Untick anything you don’t want, then press Apply to the card. To take them back, press Undo under the checklist, or just tell Wingmate (“undo that”, “put the heading back”). Either way only Wingmate’s edits are reversed; anything you changed yourself stays. Changed your mind again? Press Apply to bring them back.
Undo through Wingmate works while Invite Studio stays open. After a reload, use Undo in the Invite Studio toolbar (Cmd+Z / Ctrl+Z).
Good to know
- Wingmate knows where every element sits, but it can’t see what a photo or illustration looks like, only the space it takes up.
- It won’t change locked elements. Items inside an auto layout group are positioned by the group, so Wingmate moves the group instead.
