Set up or change your budget with Wingmate

No spreadsheet? Describe your budget to Wingmate in plain words and it drafts the changes for you to approve. It can set your total budget and guest count, add categories (with their payments), change what something costs or what you planned to spend, mark a category booked, and schedule payments.

How it works

1. Open Wingmate from the Wingmate button at the top, or the Ask Wingmate button in the corner.
2. Describe what you want, for example: “Our venue is $14,000 with a $4,200 deposit due next Friday and the rest 30 days before the wedding.”
3. Wingmate replies with a checklist of changes. Untick anything you don’t want.
4. Press Apply. Only the ticked changes are saved, and your Budget page updates.

Good things to ask

• “Set up a $40,000 budget for 120 guests, with a 10% buffer.”
• “We’re over budget. Where could we trim $3,000?”
• “My parents are covering flowers and the photographer.”

To undo a budget change, edit or delete it on the Budget page.
