Digital wedding invitation questions
Are digital wedding invitations proper etiquette?
Yes. Digital invitations are widely accepted now, and most guests are used to replying online. Many couples mix the two: a digital invitation for most guests and a few printed ones for grandparents or anyone who would treasure a card in the mail.
How much do digital wedding invitations cost on VowBirds?
Designing and sending them is free, and so are the RSVP reminders. Free designs carry a small “Made with vowbirds” mark. VowBirds Plus removes it from your cards and email invitations for $49 once per wedding, not a subscription.
Do guests need an account to RSVP?
No. Each household’s email has its own link that opens their reply directly. Guests can also RSVP from your wedding website by typing their full name as it appears on your guest list.
When should I send digital wedding invitations?
The usual guidance is six to eight weeks before the wedding, with RSVPs due three to four weeks before the day. For a destination wedding, send them around three months ahead. Save the dates go out six to twelve months before.
Can I send digital invitations and still print some?
Yes. The same design works for both. Request printing from Invite Studio and you get a quote by email to approve before anything prints. Printed invitations start at $1.95 each with an envelope, with a minimum of 25 cards per design.
Can my family approve the design before it goes out?
Yes. Share a proof link from Invite Studio and your partner, parents or planner can approve the front and back or leave a note.
